MVCS recently conducted a three-day Field Training Excercise (FTX), the second annual Winter FTX. The excersice, held from 28-30 DEC 01 at Prince William Forrest Park, was a sucess, with 50 hours spent in the field. A copy of the post-excersice memorandum from Maj Bowden, Wing SAR Officer, to Maj Tucker, Wing ES Officer, can be obtained here. Hooah to all who participated.

We now have an online ground team gear list. Note: New ground team trainees SHOULD NOT purchase every item on this list at once. Instead, build your gear, using what you learn in the field.
